Someone is 30….

Noah and his Ark

I am always on the look out for an Ark. Or at least I have been since Noah was born. In 2007 I spotted this Ark at Macy's(better known as Dayton's) 8th Floor Auditorium in their Nutcracker Show. Now and forever the auditorium will remain "The Life of an Elf" (my thoughts exactly shared here). I guess I might as well embrace it, so it has become an annual tradition for my little guy to get his picture taken! If I were an Elf……

I would work in work in the Bakery! I will be posting more from Macy's Minneapolis Santaland! The boys and I had a great time with our friends!

Today we celebrated our annual Breakfast with Santa. We broke the tradition of going to Macy's Downtown (perviously, Marshall Fields/Dayton). I had heard that a local country club had a fantastic Santa, reindeer and GREAT food. The change to  Rush Creek Country Club was well worth it. My parents and my brothers family made the drive up in the blizzard. Now names, Snow-Polozza 2010.  When everything else was canceled the Breakfast went on....Santa can make it in any kind if weather! We had a nice time and I am grateful for safe travels! Cake Mania!

My two weekend cakes. The kids had creative fun using the scrapes!

Sleigh Ride

After much anticipation, Holly's field trip day  to Orchestra Hall is finally here! I was lucky enough to be a chaperone. I enjoyed every bit of the occasion.  To top it all off orchestra played one of my all time favorite Wintery songs, Sleigh Ride by Leroy Anderson (not my Grandpa). Holly has spellbound. I loved sharing this experience with her!
