Archives for the Month of November, 2011

Have you ever seen a pink ladybug?

A picture I missed…

Sometimes, I strive for perfection. About a month ago I had the kids take a few pictures in our back yard. I didn't like any of them. Today, as I was looking through past pictures I found this one: and I really like it!

A view from my iPhone

Lately, I have been capturing everyday life on my iPhone. Here is a glimpse into my last couple weeks.....    (1)Holly, in a fabric store we happened upon! This is one of 28 aisles! (2)Moving Truck at the Howe's new house! (3) Boys new gray paint and blue headboards. (4)Noah playing cars (the green magnetic canes are "killing" the red car). (5)Ethan found a new hat (sun chips bag). (6)I was amazed to see three commercial planes flying so close.(7) Our front door before we painted it black!  (8) Holly's landform map (it reminds me of a 4th grade map that I made!)

The Boys Room

Today we are busy painting the boys room.....

Crafting Night

I just started a Crafting Night with a few of my girlfriends. We plan to get together and work on projects a few times each month. Look what I made last night! I have to say I love the idea of crafting night. It is so much more rewarding than a book club.Watch for my Crafting Night board on Pinterest.

Halloween Party

Holly, Noah Ethan and  I hosted a Halloween party. We had our great friends (and soon to be neighbors) the Howe Family over. This is the 3rd annual Howe/Hughes Halloween! Turns out the Candy Corn was the first thing to go, who knew? Don't you love the Witch Tote (Trick or Treating bag)!  I found these for all the girls. They were brand new and $0.99 at Goodwill. The kids loved creating mummy and monster cups and Ghost bowling! And look at the spooky food.... and Halloween faces!
